Hi!

My name is K.J. Delaney. I graduated with my B.Sc. (honours) in Psychology from Trent University in 1999. Currently, I am pursuing a M.Sc. in the Modelling programme at Trent under the supervision of Professor C.T. Smith.

I am the Campus Representative at Trent for the Canadian Psychological Association (C.P.A.). This position involves acting as a liaison between you and the Executive of the C.P.A. In this way, we hope to provide you with the help and services you require to fulfill your educational requirements and to address any questions you have about pursuing a career in psychology.

I have several information resources available to anyone that is interested, including; C.P.A. membersip applications, C.P.A. Member contact information, and other useful C.P.A. documents.

I am hoping to use this web page as a means to keep psychology students at Trent updated on the C.P.A. Student Section's plans and activities. Additionally, the C.P.A. encourages feedback from students regarding ideas for conferences, student concerns and social events. I would appreciate any input you have about any of these matters and will gladly forward your ideas in a quarterly status report to the C.P.A.

The C.P.A. is also interested in hearing about the research in which students are involved. Once a year the research efforts of one student is profiled in The Student Review. Also, the C.P.A. often has awards available through the Student Section. I will be certain to keep you informed about these and other issues of importance to you as a psychology student in Canada.
